A Fire Medic Perspective: EMS At The National Fire Academy
We gather at EMS World Expo next week to learn, laugh and make lifelong friends, but what about the other 51 weeks of the year? In a recent episode of A Fire Medic Perspective with Rom Duckworth we hear that “The National Fire Academy is Not Just Fire Anymore” as we talk with Michael Stern, EMS Training Specialist for the NFA.

The NFA is known for high level fire service training and education, especially its leadership programs. How is the NFA expanding beyond fire programs into EMS, emergency management and other areas? Do you have to be a firefighter to attend? How is an institute like the NFA of benefit to the average EMT or Paramedic on the street? We answer these questions and more on this episode of A Fire Medic Perspective with Rom Duckworth.

A Fire Medic Perspective is a weekly podcast covering everything emergency services, from clinical topics, to education and leadership issues to why the the rookie should be ready to travel to learn on a national level, all from a Fire Medic Perspective.
